Quite disappointed. The grades were probably right. The scenery had zero effort. This is an island and the ocean is visible during a large portion of the ride. No ocean seen on RGT. A lot is in the woods. No woods on RGT. Acadia is mostly evergreens beside the road, none on RGT. The real mountains are not plateaus here. Even the switchbacks on the mountain were created as wide sweeping turns. The artistry is pretty but totally generic. I was looking forward to a cartoon of the real area.
I suppose I thought RGT looked at something like google earth and had their computers “posterize” the pictures. Evidently this is too labor and memory intensive.
It is interesting that RGT Stelvio is very realistic looking.
