Aragonese Pyrenees – Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park: Lafortunada to Pineta Valley
→ 31.0KM
↑ 0751-1000m
On this ride you will follow the Cinca river from the small village of Lafortunada to its source at the Pineta Valley, located in the Sobrarbe region of the Aragonese Pyrenees, and very close to the Spanish/French border. The Pineta valley is one of the four valleys that shape the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park, and one of the most majestic in the Pyrenees, where you will ride along a road surrounded by pine, beech and fir forests. The valley is surrounded by peaks quite higher than 3,000 metres, like the landmark ‘Monte Perdido’ (3,355m.), ‘Marboré’ and ‘Tuca Roya’, generating an overwhelming feeling of narrowness.
